My Etsy Selling Experience

At one time I did sell my unique homemade jewelry on Etsy. However, I no longer am a seller there. The concept of Etsy is a good one, but for a seller, especially someone selling jewelry, it’s difficult to get people to buy your products because there are just too many stores to browse through.
Even if your items are unique, it’s still very easy to fade into the background. I did make some money while I was a seller on Etsy though. If you’re looking to sell your homemade items online, Etsy is definitely worth a try. If you aren’t looking for some fast cash, it may be a success for you. It really just depends on what items you’re selling and who ends up looking at them.
I’m actually considering selling on Etsy again this fall. I’ve spent more time on the site and watched what sells and what doesn’t. I think I may have a better chance of making Etsy more profitable for me. And I now have a little more time to dedicate to my store there. If you can get your store discovered then more people will come across the items that you have for sale.
Etsy has some wonderfully unique items that you can’t find anywhere else, so there are always people browsing the site.
