My Success at Selling on Ebay

by Amanda
(Iowa)

My boyfriend introduced me to selling items that I no longer needed on eBay. I had been selling my old clothing to local consignment stores for literally only cents!

I began listing a few clothing items on eBay and found great success with selling my unneeded clothing items. I would usually start each item at about $.99 unless it was an expensive pair of jeans or shoes.

I found in no time at all that people were bidding on my stuff like crazy! I then started to really clean out my closet and the rest of my house for other unneeded items that I could sell.

I've had some success with other items, but clothing is what I have had the most success with. I posted a pair of shoes for $.99 and ended up getting $20 for them! I was very excited!

My primary motivation for selling on eBay is that I am expecting my first child, and I am looking to find alternative ways to save some money for my maternity leave. This has been quite a fabulous way to make some extra cash.

I would recommend to anyone to list their unneeded items on Ebay if you have the patience and desire to make some extra cash! Its also a good way to clear household clutter.

You can even start browsing second hand stores for cheap items that you think would sell on eBay! I have had some success with items that I've bought this way. You really need to be particular and patient with this. If you do not have a lot of time, just stick to the things in your house that you no longer need. It's one of the best ways I have found to make extra cash.
