Writing For Break Studios Saved Me

by Nina
(Rumford, RI, USA)

For the past two years, I have been running a daycare in my home. When I started losing clients due to the suffering economy, I knew I had to find other means of making money. I get severe migraines and need a flexible work schedule. The only way I can find the flexibility I need is to work from home.

I have always loved to write, and many of my friends told me I should look into writing for money. I have only taken one writing course and was concerned I may not have enough experience or knowledge to freelance write. I did some research online and found many opportunities available. After tons of checking and double checking, I found a site that seemed legitimate and lucrative.

I started writing for Break Studios after taking an application test. Break Studios is affiliated with many websites that deal with men’s issues. They look for writers who can create unique, interesting, and sometimes irreverent content. Humor is a must, as well as knowledge about the subjects involved.

The application process is simple. They require a few writing samples and a resume. Once accepted, you can choose to write about areas that interest you. They pay about $8.00 per article, which is more than most of the other freelance opportunities I looked into. Payment is made through PayPal, and they pay twice a month.

Writing for Break Studios is fun and profitable. I can work in my pajamas and set my own schedule. It’s great to write about things that I find interesting, and knowing I may be passing along useful information to others is an added perk. For anyone new to the freelance writing world, Break Studios is a good way to begin.
